As we promised, YJ will be leveling up in 2026 so check out just a few of the changes you can expect heading into this exciting new year!
New Programs Coming in January
IDOL Training & Audition Prep Program
The Idol Program is designed for students who are serious about improving their skills and preparing for Korean entertainment auditions.
It’s perfect for those who want structured training, growth, and opportunities to confidently put themselves forward and give themselves the best possible chance at being noticed by these companies.
Kid’s Competition & Performance Team
Next year, YJ will be introducing seasonal Performance and Competition teams for the YJ Kids. These teams will be activated whenever performance or competition opportunities arise—meaning no full-year or term-long commitment is required.
If a child can’t participate in a specific performance, we will simply fill the spot or skip that event. It’s a flexible, low-pressure way for students to experience more growth, stage time, and fun.
JNR Competition & Performance Team
From January, YJ will form seasonal Performance and Competition teams. Juniors (Age 8-12) will havethe chance to join. These groups will come together only when specific events or opportunities appear—so dancers won’t need to commit to a full year or an entire term.
If a student isn’t available for a particular performance, we’ll simply adjust by replacing the spot or skipping that event. This approach keeps things flexible and low-pressure, while still giving dancers more chances to grow, get on stage, and have fun.
What to expect Throughout 2026
More diverse Student Projects
In 2026, YJ will expand our Student Projects to offer a wider range of songs, age groups and artists. Students will have more opportunities to explore different sides of K-POP through filming, performance, and group projects. We will also do our best to have our Student Project teams performing at more events.
Korean Entertainment Auditions
In 2026, YJ will continue to partner with Korean entertainment companies to provide audition opportunities for our students. Whether you’re aiming for training programs or trainee pathways, these auditions offer real industry exposure and a chance to be seen by top K-entertainment Casting Teams.
More events throughout the year
Our YJ Fam loves to perform, whether it’s at the Mid-Year Street Performance or the End-of-Year Showcase—so we’re doing everything we can to bring you even more moments in the spotlight. Expect exciting new chances to perform on stage at events around the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
