Monday BEGINNER’S K-POP
Have you never danced before?Have you wanted to learn K-POP but have found other classes too challenging? Then, this class is tailored for you!
Starting in 2024, we've revamped our beginners' class to an 'ABSOLUTE BEGINNER'S CLASS', ensuring a supportive environment for all newcomers to feel comfortable exploring the dance form!

OPEN LEVEL CHOREO
This Tuesday, Joy will be teaching our Open Level Class!
Jamy has been a part of the Brisbane Dance Scene for the past 15 years, training under companies such as AOB, Funky Munkyz Dance Academy and The Home Base.
After some travels, Jamy has now recently moved back to the Gold Coast and is ready to immerse himself within the community and raise up the next generation with YJ DANCE SCHOOL!

GIRLISH CHOREO

From last week of July 2025, the Heels/Sneakers Choreo Class has been renamed to the Girlish Choreo Class! This allows us to switch off the styles and vibes each week but still provide choreo with heels and sneakers!
Our teacher Sheina will upload her choreography each week to inform you will need to bring heels or not through her instagram and YJ instagram.

BASICS CHOREO
Have you wanted to learn dance but have found other classes too challenging? Then, this class is tailored for you!
We've revamped our Thursday choreo class to a 'BEGINNER'S CHOREO CLASS', ensuring a supportive environment for all newcomers to feel comfortable exploring the dance form!
Students will be also able to work on their foundations whilst also learning some cool basic choreography!

Kid's K-POP (AGE 5-8)

Due to popular demand, starting from 15th March, we will split our kid’s classes into age groups.
This Kid's K-POP class every Saturday is catered for children aged 5-8 years old! Each week, kids will learn a different K-POP original choreography, specially tailored to their age. At the end of each class, parents are welcomed in to join and capture their child's performance! Our goal is to fill each of these classes with joy and laughter, because nothing makes us happier than seeing our YJ kid’s happy🤍

JUNIOR K-POP (AGE 9-11)

Join us from 3:00pm each Saturday, for our always energetic and exciting Beginner’s K-POP Class!

Saturday OPEN LEVEL K-POP
Learning K-POP is always exhilarating! At our weekly Open Level Kpop Classes, students delve into iconic K-POP girl group/boy group dances, finished off with the chance to film their progress by the end of each session.
Join us from 4:15pm each Saturday for an experience of immersive and fun learning!

Wednesday Kid’s K-POP Class

This K-POP class every Saturday is designed for children aged 6-10! Each week, they'll learn a new K-POP dance, created just for their age.
Parents are welcome to join at the end to watch and capture their child’s performance! We aim to fill every class with fun and laughter, as nothing makes us happier than seeing our YJ kids enjoy themselves 🤍

This Grooves Class is a complete safe space for growth, a great starting opportunity if you are new to dance or want to work on foundations to grow as a dancer. Let’s work on basics together, step by step!
This type of class will pair well with our Beginner Choreo classes happening on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays!

Beginner’s Choreo (2) | HYUN SEO T
FOUNDATIONS + BEGINNERS CHOREO
Hyun Seo is a dance teacher from South Korea and has participated in choreography proposals to Chung Ha and Twice!
She is teaching her choreography over 2 lessons (18th & 20th March) and Students will be able to work on their foundations whilst also learning some cool choreography!
If you can’t make one of the classes, that’s fine! You can register either Tuesday or Thursday class as one casual class!

POP-UP Choreography Class
A special POP-UP Class taught by Nick. Teaching commercial style choreography, learn from an experienced highly skilled choreographer making his break through in the QLD dance scene.
